It's my birthday!

I like to have a theme with every party I throw. Actually, I lied, I LOVE to have a theme! This year I turned 27 years young and I treat my birthday like Christmas. I make sure to celebrate it bigger and better than the year before.

My friends know when June 24 comes around, it's party time!

This year I chose a Kentucky Derby Theme. I rented a Party Bus, had all of my invited guests dress up (big hats and all), and headed to the race track. I printed cheat sheets to help everyone out with placing bets. It turned out pretty awesome! I was so happy to see tat everyone participated.

I dressed up in my "lemon dress" as I like to call it and made sure my daughter was matching me. It turned out to be so perfect. My mom and In law came along as well and they had such a good time. They decided to wear a yellow dress to match us in pictures lol. How cute !

So much fun! Can't wait to see what I come up with for my big 28!

Fathers Day

So last year was my husbands first Fathers Day and I wanted to make it extra special. My goal was to wow him with something where my daughter was involved. Of course I turned to Pinterest for ideas and I was fortunate enough to find this amazing photo. I replicated it with my daughter and a little personalization from her nursery. Here's what I came up with !

Looking for something new and different this year! I'll definitely keep you guys posted on what i come up with. Follow my pinterest @ xenea02

It's a Tiffany & Co kind of day

As seen in my previous post, I had a Tiffany theme babyshower. Xolei & Co. I always said as soon as my daughter Xolei started walking I would have a Tiffany theme photo shoot. It finally happened thanks to my talented friend Sandy. I wanted to share these beautiful photos.

Tiffany & Co Inspired Baby Shower

Xolei & Co

I knew before I was pregnant that if I were to be pregnant with a girl then I would absolutely need to have a Tiffany's inspired baby shower. Thankfully pinterest was able to make that happen & of course a HUGE thanks to my mom and sister for throwing me such a fabulous shower.

Most of my decor was ordered through different Etsy shops. Here is a picture of my invites. I saw really cute ones specifically for baby showers like a blue onesie, etc. BUT, I thought when someone thinks about Tiffany's the first thing is usually that beautiful blue bag. I wanted it to feel authentic so I went with the style below. HOW CUTE ARE THEY?

The cake I left up to my sister. The only thing I asked was for the cake to include a silver teddy bear and a silver rattle to give it that baby feeling. She decided to add the cute little rhinestone shoes and the crystals. It was perfect!

These were my centerpieces. The bags were ordered from an Etsy shop and it included the pearl handles and a personalized name. The flowers were from Hobby Lobby and were held down by a Styrofoam rectangle. The entire shower was focused on a Xolei & Co theme.

How delicious does this sweet table look? In addition to the cake, my sister also ordered mini Tiffany gift boxes (cupcakes) with a bow. I also added some of my favorite maternity photo session pictures. My mom bought tall glass vases and filled them with pearls and white and blue flowers. Then I sprinkled the mini blue favor boxes which were filled with chocolate. The white wooden letters were also from Hobby Lobby. I used these letters to also decorate her bedroom.

Near our gift table, I set out this cute little thank you note thanking our guests for all of the wonderful gifts we received.

On this table we set out a white onesie along with fabric markers for our guests to sign. There was also a frame with an Instagram hashtag for everyone to share their photos. We also had a calendar with a sign that said "When Will She Pop"for guests to guess the due date.
One of my amazing friends was in charge of a mini photo booth where pictures were printed out on the spot and guests got to attach them to a photo album with a personalized note. I printed out the photo booth props myself by using cardstock and skewers.

My best friend gave me this adorable shadow box. I fell in love with it. She definitely surprised me with adding a copy of the ultrasound picture.

Here I am! I felt so huge at the time but now looking back I dont think I looked that big.The mommy & co pin was also from Etsy.

Then it was game time...
Who could drink out of a baby bottle the fastest?

Guests were divided into teams and were given one roll of toilet paper. They were then timed to make a diaper, bib and a hat and the person they chose to be a baby.

Little plastic babies were frozen into ice cubes. Players had to suck on the ice cube until the baby was completely out and then they had to yell "my water broke".

Gender Reveal - Its a girl

Im taking some of these posts way back to when I was pregnant. Whoa does time fly! My baby girl is now 15 months and since my blog was non existent then I thought I would share some pictures.

Considering my husband is a huge football fan (sports fan in general actually) and I loved my cheerleading days, we went with a cheerleader or football player theme.

I created these invitations myself using Word Publisher.

These chocolate molds were from Amazon. One was a cheerleader and the other was a football helmet.

My best friend was the only one who knew the gender. She came with me to my ultrasound appointment and the nurse gave her an envelope with the answer. I wanted to do a cake reveal where the inside was either pink or blue.

I had these two mason jar style dispensers available so I decided to put them to use by creating a pink and blue drink. The two attached balloons were from the dollar store.

I used publisher to cut out these mini helmets and megaphones and had our guests right their name to cast their vote.

My family and I are very superstitious so making this board was an obvious choice. 5/10 were right.

Finding a baby blue dress was soooo hard. Although I didn't really look that hard lol but this was what we came up with.

We asked that everyone wear pink or blue to cast their vote, and for these cool pictures of course.

AND THEN......
the inside of the cake was pink

ITS A GIRL!!!
